Description
Maintaining constant air humidity with central control
SPA 200/250 is a device designed for humidification air installed behind the heat recovery unit to the supply duct. First of all, the use of this type of equipment is intended for single-family housing, multi-family housing and office buildings.
The humidifier is characterized by low noise level and compact designIt is powered by single-phase voltage. The device is equipped with a humidification filter, a 300W heater, an automatically controlled bypass, and a misting nozzle. Additionally, the humidifier is equipped with a UV diode. Looking at the diode while it is lit is harmful to the eyes.
humidifier SPA It works with a range of DOSPEL air handling units. It has been designed to minimally impact the pressure output of the unit it is working with. The device is designed to maintain the appropriate humidity level in the building.
There's one proven solution to excessively dry air: a spa air humidifier from Berluf. These days, too dry air is a common problem in heat recovery systems. As a manufacturer, we didn't want to use enthalpy exchangers or rotary heat exchangers, which theoretically recover moisture. Because moisture must first be present in the air to be recovered, and not all of it. Therefore, we opted for a central humidifier, which allows us to maintain a constant humidity level in the supplied air.
Construction of a humidifier
Inside the humidifier is an antibacterial nonwoven fabric, which is saturated with water through spray nozzles. The airflow passing through the humidifier removes the moisture that forms on the fabric. A humidity sensor, once it exits the humidifier and detects the humidity level has reached the desired level, shuts off the water flow. This stops spraying water onto the fabric. The air passes through the fabric, drying it and continuing without humidification.
The air flowing through it is tested for humidity. Water spray nozzles spray water to achieve the humidity level set on the automatic control at the humidifier's outlet.
Bypass
The humidifier features a bypass, which bypasses air outside the humidifier's fabric. The bypass will always be open once the appropriate humidity level is reached, allowing air to freely pass through the fabric without generating additional resistance. The automation algorithm will periodically close the bypass to ventilate the fabric and prevent mold or odor.
Installation and operation
- The central humidifier is installed on the supply duct from the air handling unit to the rooms.
- The humidifier should be connected to running water and a drain.
- We recommend replacing the fabric soaked in water at least every 6 months to maintain the perfect purity of the air flowing through it.
There's a flap on the side of the device, which you can unscrew to remove the filter cartridge for replacement. A drain is located underneath. The humidifier is controlled by setting a constant humidity level between 30% and 70%. Humidity sensors measure humidity to ensure it's maintained within this range.
8 years warranty
Given the market demand for humidifiers, we're confident that the SPA humidifier will find many satisfied customers who will recommend it. We also remind you that the humidifier, like our entire range of devices, comes with a full 8-year warranty.
